Eric's Chocolate Show piece

This is my Chocolate show piece that I made in my chocolates class. I have never done this before. I also came up with the two truffles flavors. They are Rose and Lavender flavored.

Lillian's Birth Story!

On Monday December 8th we went to our doctors appointment at 10:45am. We found out we were 3cm and 90% effaced, along with high blood pressure and a little protein. Since we were only 5 days away from the due date he was fine with us being induced. Eric took Aiden to Great-Grandma Holloway's as I was being moved to the hospital (the next building over).
Once in Labor and Delivery (11:30am) the doctor broke my water and checked me again to find I was 4cm and 100% effaced. He checked to make sure the cord was not around her neck or anything like that and she grabbed his finger. Eric showed up just when they started the pitocin. I decided I wanted to see if I could go through the labor with out an epidural yet I did get something that took the edge off. Yet it only worked for about half an hour and I had to wait for half an hour to get another dose. Eric was great at helping me remember to breath and to stay as calm as possible. I started feeling the need to push and the nurse checked me and I was 9cm and she called the doctor. He showed up and we started to push and Lillian joined us just 5 minutes later!

Pregnancy Update

We figured out a name for our baby girl finally! The name is....Lillian Kayla Bushman!

As for me, last week we found out I have pregnancy related sciatica. Meaning that the baby is on my sciatic nerve. Since she is on this nerve it causes a sharp pain to go through my leg or legs and they will just give out. So far I have fallen only twice, I have caught myself with the other times. This happens as little as 4 times a day. On Monday I started physical therapy to help relieve the pain. So far it is helping a little and I need a lot of rest.

Spinning the Doggy

Aiden loves to tip over his truck and put things on the wheels and spin them saying weeeeee! Its really cute, he has even done this with snacks.

Trunk or Treat

Aiden's first time at a Trunk or Treat (we moved to Colorado last year on Oct 30...so not a real Halloween last year) He kept on looking in his candy bag wondering why people were giving him things. Next will be more interesting for him. He loved being dressed up though!

After we got home

Getting ready for bed but still hyper from the candy!

Aiden being weird!

Here are some pictures I just had to post!

Aiden trying to kiss the camera from the coffee table!

Just a sweet smile!

34 Weeks

I am now 34 weeks and ready to be done! Things are going well, other than belly in the way and no energy. Its crazy how much bigger I am than I was with Aiden at this point! The top picture is me now and the bottom picture was 34 weeks with Aiden, big difference!

17 Months Old

Aiden is now 17 months old, how crazy is that?
As of today: Aiden can say 28 words, loves to watch Elmo, has to have his shoes on, love being read "Goodnight Moon" at least a few times a day, showing signs of potty training (which scare me), love to eat anything but really likes cheese, eggs and oatmeal!

Aiden Helping Daddy

Eric wanted to try to make truffles and Aiden had to help. Mainly he was eating the powdered sugar that was on the table but he had to be right there. It was really cute!

Christ Wall!

I found some really cute ideas online and I changed it so I could do the projects myself! I really like how the wall turned out!

First time with Fondant!

Eric made my cake and butter cream then I made my own fondant because I have always wanted to try. I was kind of excited to decorate my own birthday cake! So here are some pictures!

Kitchen Helper

No matter what Aiden is in the Kitchen with us. He is happiest if he can see so we bring out our stool for him to stand on where he can barely see but he can see more!

Mom's Socks

The other day Aiden found my ski socks and he kept trying to put them on so I finally put them on him and he loved them...lol He walked around for a few hours with them on and when I took them off he tried to put them back on. The socks are just to funny I just had to post!

Aiden and the Big Boy Bed!

We have had a twin bed in Aiden's room since we moved into our new apartment and Aiden has started showing interest in climb on it to look out window. At first it was a pain because he could not climb on it so he would come get me every time. So we lowered it so it is just on its box spring and matress and it still took him a few days to get up on it. Now he is always on it.

Bushman Reunion/ Salt Lake City Trip

Ok come to find out we didn't get our camera out until the last day we were even there, how sad is that! And they are all only of Aiden...lol. So we took no pictures of the reunion, but I am sure we will collect some soon!

Aiden had his first ice cream cone at Cousin Maren's!

Aiden playing in the water at Gateway Mall!

As we were packing up our Hotel Aiden dumped the whole box of Cheerios on the floor, his face was pretty funny!

Our trip was a lot of fun Aiden and I left on Thursday with Camille, Eric and Chance and stayed at the Johnson's that night.

We went to a church building the next day to meet up with the rest of the family. We played volleyball, ate pizza, shared powerpoints of our families, and shared family history. After we went camping in a state park for that night.

The next morning Eric flew in really early and we played in the water and on the jet ski. That night we went out to dinner with just Eric's family.

On Sunday we went to Lamont's farewell and went to the luncheon after. After the luncheon we went to temple square with Brandon and met up with his wife Camille.

The next day we went to the Beehive House and took Brandon and Camille to the airport. We went to Gateway Mall were we wondered around and played in the water, which Aiden didn't really like these ones because they were so random and went so high. We went over to Maren's house to have ice cream and that night we stayed at Aunt Marlue's house.

The following morning we made fondont daisies for a lady's daughter's cake because her cake deorator didn't want to make them and she came over to have Marlue put real ones on but Eric was able to make them for her! Then we flew home!

Cart Pushing!

Aiden has figured out he can push the cart in stores now. We found it pretty fun so we had to take some pictures of it!

Holloway Family Reunion

We were very busy with all that we had planned yet it was a lot of fun. We did anything from camping to a huge birthday party for everyone to an egg toss...

Grandpa & Grandma Holloway

The first door Aiden could ever open...we kept a cooler in front of it so he could not leave without us.
